We
are
Ann
and
Mike
Savage.
We
like to
hike and enjoy the outdoors so when we moved to this beautiful area
five(now seven)years ago, we set out to discover the local hiking
trails. This
year, we decided to build this website with as much information as
possible on all the trails that we found throughout the region. We will
be working closely with Discovery Routes and Ontario's Near North. Our
site lists the recognized trails, but also the little
hidden gems, trails not maintained, and some not even recognized as
trails. We
also like
to incorporate photos of all the trails we have hiked. We had many
adventures as we combed the back roads
looking for the various trail heads. We hope you enjoy the trails
listed on our site. We hope you like our new look. Everything
should be in place in 7 to 10 days.
This
site
is
not
funded
by any organization. We pay our expenses by selling page
sponsorships
and the sale of banners that you see throughout our website. We need
help from
anyone, especially from the businesses that cater to visitors to our
city. We have over 25, 000 hits the first year and the count keeps
going up. Our sincere thanks to all the businesses who have helped us
since we went online in 2008. He hope you cab help us out again this
year.
