Welcome to our website.

North Bay Ontario, is situated 3 1/2 hours north of Toronto on Highway 11 North and approximately 4 hours west of Ottawa on Highway 17. Sitting on the crossroads of the main Trans Canada Highways, our city is also known as the "Gateway to the North." We consider ourselves the only "dedicated" site to hiking trails in this city and surrounding area. We hope  to provide accurate information on all the trails listed, with easy to follow directions, making it easier for newcomers  and visitors to our  area to easily find their way to the trail heads.  Use the Hiking menu above to go to all the hiking trails. We eliminated the thumbnail photos on each page. Instead, we have posted a link to the photos of each trail. For Google Trails Map, go to Home on Menu bar. If any of the listed "impromptu trails or non recognized trails" are sitting on private land or protected areas, please let us know by e.mail and we will remove the link to it.
